The Import Being Fetched Is Not Queued Up for Importing. Please Try the Import Again.

#1335091

Hi,

we are using the Events Aggregator to import events from Facebook on a weekly base.

Unfortunately the system stopped importing them (not sure when, but probably already 1-two weeks ago).

Find a screenshot with a listing of all the Facebook sites which should be imported.
They are all scheduled for Monday 20:00 (CET), which means they should have run already 1 hour agone.

Observe a 2d screenshot attached with a Coil mistake bulletin.

Best regards,
Oliver

PS: when nosotros start the import manually everything works fine.

Hullo Courtney,

in the changelog of the new release I plant this info:

Fix – Fixed an issues where Event Aggregator scheduled imports could not run other than manually

Unfortunately the automatic import doesn't work for us.

Whatever news or ideas?

Best,
Oliver

Hi at that place Oliver,

As you lot annotation, at that place has been a release (I was well-nigh to post well-nigh it). I'm sorry to hear the update didn't set up the issue for you 🙁

Practise you observe any divergence in the behaviour afterwards the update? Or simply the same?

All-time,
Nico

Howdy Nico,

I did some more tests today.
I inverse two things:

a) I used another License Key
b) I changed the bike to thirty minutes

Result: The imports are running, simply lot of them take an assertion marking or a sentinel icon (see fastened screenshot). What does this hateful?

Btw: is there anywhere an user manual for the Event Aggregator available? I guess I really need one to empathise it better 😉

Best regards,
Oliver

Hi Oliver

You lot can view all of our tutorials at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/plugin/event-aggregator/.

When you lot hover over the symbols, a tool tip will appear to clarify what each means.

– Green tick: Import Completed.
– Yellow Clock: Import Awaiting.
– Crimson assertion: Import failed.

Per our developers: scheduled imports could remaing "pending" *for hours* while processing the feeds
many scheduled imports + depression traffic = slow imports due to how WP-cron works

Delight permit me know if the red exclamations articulate up.

Cheers
Courtney 🙂

Hi Courtney,

thank yous for the explanation and the link.

I had a look at the mouse over error messages, only unfortunately they don't help me to solve the problem. :-/

There are three types of errors:

– Import failed. ("Import fehlgeschlagen.")
– Import failed. The import fetched is not queued upwards for importing. Please effort the import once again.
– Import failed. Import information records have to be finalized, earlier posts (events) can exist inserted. ("Import fehlgeschlagen. Import-Datensätze müssen finalisiert werden, bevor Beiträge eingefügt werden können.")

Do y'all have any idea how to resolve them?

All-time regards,
Oliver

PS: a more than detailed or understandable error message is needed to brand it useful. I recommend to change them to a more userfriendly explanation.

How-do-you-do Oliver!

Permit me help you out while Courtney is out today.

Thanks for sending out those links. I did a few tests in my own installation but could not reproduce the errors you are having with those sources.

For the "Import failed. The import fetched is not queued up for importing. Delight try the import again." mistake, could you please try deleting ane of those scheduled imports and then re-schedule it once again? Do you get an mistake for that source after that?

Regarding the error "Import failed. Import data records have to exist finalized, before posts (events) tin exist inserted." It seems to me this could be an isolated mistake message for a specific scenario. I volition attain out to the team regarding this error and will go back to you when I get a more authentic definition of it.

Delight allow us know how re-scheduling the imports piece of work for you.

Thanks,
Victor

#1345311

Hi Victor!

Thank you for the hint. After adding all the import again from scratch it works! 🙂

Can you explain me why? I would like to understand the route of the effect to be prepared for the next fourth dimension.
And can you lot please give me an respond what the three error letters mean / in what circumstances they are thrown? That would exist really helpful:

i. Import failed.
two. Import failed. The import fetched is not queued up for importing. Delight try the import again.
three. Import failed. Import data records have to be finalized, earlier posts (events) can be inserted.

Best regards,
Oliver

Hi Oliver

I've merely returned from a family unit vacation. While I was out, I encounter that we've shipped several fixes to both The Events Calendar and the Event Aggregator server that processes imports. However, some of our users are still experiencing the same issues. I know the team has been difficult at work on these bug, but information technology seems we don't notwithstanding have a clear solution for y'all. I will be sure you receive an update equally presently equally we've got one. I'm so sad this has been going on for so long.

Thanks
